Who we are

Red Telescope Global (RTG) is a strategic advisory firm that works for consequential leaders – those who possess the power, vision, and commitment to solve the world’s hardest problems in its most complex places. We serve leaders navigating instability, building new coalitions, and executing bold ideas in contexts where failure is not an option.

Red Telescope began in 2013 as an effort between friends who wanted to leave a positive mark on the world. Our founders had achieved success in business and government, but knew there was something more they could do. Founded on the belief that those with the ability to make a difference should, RTG’s decade long practice exists to bring order to chaos, comfort in ambiguity, and direction to complexity.

The name Red Telescope refers to our goal of making the world a better place by looking at the expanse of what’s possible – even if it’s at a distance. Tackling difficult international problems like poverty, agricultural development, human trafficking, and fragile state governance requires the ability to envision a distant future through a lens that is powerful enough to see further.

We are a company focused on sharpening the impact of globally minded organizations, businesses, and individuals that mix purpose with value, justice, and entrepreneurship to bring prosperity and dignity to all.

Our Core Beliefs

  • Listening to people on the ground is always the best place to start.

  • No one can do it alone: alliances are everything.

  • The first answer is rarely the right one. Adaptation is key.

  • We must take comfort in ambiguity.

  • If it were easy, it would already be done.
